Hi, again Scott. You certainly have my permission to show anyone our conversation(s) regarding the Dixie Pro Mod Racing Association.
There is no doubt that the vast majority of Dixie members would very much like to race at SGMP again. Getting more than a full field of good running cars would not present a problem. It's simply a great facility.
The Dixie booking fee for a race still remains at $7,000. (same as before when SGMP booked us). At just $15.00 per spectator, it only takes 467 spectator tickets to pay for Dixie. Let's face it, 467 just isn't that many folk.
However, it only takes 934 spectators to double the track's income on the race and just 1401 spectators for it to triple it. And, let's not forget the increased concession sales & income that comes with more spectators.
If you or others there at SGMP have any questions or need further information, just let me know. Since it is very important that the track makes money on our races - Perhaps September, October or even early November should be a great time to book a race. By then the summer heat would be gone, the cars would be flying and the spectators much more willing to get out of the AC and go see something special!
Regards, James Duncan
The simple fact is, in some locales it takes more than a race or two to build a loyal spectator base. I & other members would certainly like to race there again. As you intimated, it is a great track. So, my question to you is, how can we make this happen???
